Banana Cabana is a delightful island home of Caribbean style design, with two separate pods, nestled on a hill overlooking the emerald green and aqua blue waters of Coral Bay and Hurricane Hole. Within easy driving distance to St. John’s most beautiful beaches and hiking trails, Banana Cabana is a private, peaceful vacation hideaway and a perfect love nest.

Coral Bay and the East End of St. John offer the true experience of secluded island life. This part of the island, where Banana Cabana is located, has maintained an unhurried, uncrowded, simple and friendly way of life that has long since disappeared in other parts of the Virgin Islands.

The beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters of the U.S. Virgin Islands National Park combined with the comfort and privacy of Banana Cabana gives you the ideal Caribbean vacation experience.

The kitchen is modern and well equipped with a gas oven range, refrigerator-freezer, coffee maker, blender, toaster oven, microwave, and a complete assortment of kitchenware. There is also an outdoor gas grill for tasty barbecuing. The spacious great room has comfortable rattan furniture, including a sleeper sofa, a desk and a dining table that seats six people. The great room also features unique island artwork. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed, a ceiling fan, an outdoor shower and a sliding-glass door that opens onto a private deck with a lovely view of the bay. All bed and bath linens are provided. Not far from the villa, the shared pool has a covered deck area with counter space to prepare food or drinks. The covered portion of the pool deck also provides nice shade where you can relax out of the sun.

Banana Cabana has two separate pods, or separate buildings, each with a bedroom and bath. This type of house design ensures complete privacy, beautiful views and maximum exposure to the easterly trade winds from either pod.

For entertainment, there is a TV/DVD with video library, a stereo with assorted CDs, a selection of games, and there are shelves of books.

The lovely view of the harbor, surrounded by green hillside, is totally peaceful. The property is located close to the VI National Park, with its beautiful beaches and hiking trails.

RESERVATIONS/INFO

DEPOSIT
All reservations are subject to a 50% deposit of the full rental amount. Once you have phoned in your reservation you will have two weeks to send your payment. If we do not receive your payment within this time frame your ‘hold’ on the property will be cancelled without further notice. The balance of the rent, 12.5% hotel tax and damage insurance fee will be due no later than 30 days prior to your arrival date. No reservation is confirmed until you have returned a deposit. Submission of your reservation form constitutes your acceptance of our rental policy.

If you have received a discounted rate or are booking for 5 days or less you can make your way to our office or pay a $65 arrival fee to be met at the dock.  If you arrive on the 7 PM ferry or later there is an additional $80 fee that will be added to your invoice. A 3% credit card fee is applied if paying with Visa or MasterCard.

Rates are based on double occupancy per bedroom. THIS MEANS 2 PEOPLE WILL GET ONE BEDROOM, 4 PEOPLE WILL GET 2 BEDROOMS, 6 PEOPLE WILL GET 3 BEDROOMS etc., unless other arrangements have been made. The total occupancy permitted in the villa is restricted to the number of guests who have booked and paid. Any additional guest must pay upon arrival or vacate the premises immediately. No house parties or weddings are allowed without advance written permission from Windspree Vacation Homes. Additional fees may apply. A quiet family atmosphere must be maintained at all times so as not to disturb other residents of the neighborhood.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event you are forced to cancel, we will make every effort to re-book your villa for a 10% service charge. However, no deposits will be refunded unless a replacement rental is obtained. We may be able to reschedule your visit to another time slot in the future. Refund arrangements can largely depend on the amount of notice given to us of the cancellation, and on the time of year. For peace of mind, we recommend cancellation insurance available through your agent or call for a referral. No refunds will be given for early departure unless there is a serious problem that cannot be cured within 24 hours or causes the guest extreme discomfort or serious inconvenience.
