Oceanport is a newly remodeled villa with stunning 180º ocean views.  The wraparound hardwood main deck offers expansive views of sea life, surfers, and nighttime stars. Descend private stone steps to the beach below or lounge by the new pool surrounded by lush native plantings and fruit trees. All this is only minutes from downtown Cruz Bay.

The Great Room is the heart of the villa, opening through a stone archway into a newly remodeled mahogany kitchen and dining room on one side and a queen bedroom and bath on the other. Mahogany stairs ascend from the Great Room to two upper level bedroom suites (one king, one twin/king), a perfect layout for families with children and couples alike. Glass doors from the Great Room open onto a 40´ deck overlooking Hart Bay. A spiral staircase descends from this deck to a private apartment with queen bedroom, bath, and open living and dining areas with a kitchenette. All bedrooms open onto private decks overlooking the ocean. Afternoon breezes and comfortable wicker chairs make these ideal for cuddling up with a good book or glass of wine.

Oceanport’s tranquil outdoor living space is designed for tropical relaxation. A coral stone patio opening off the Great Room hosts an 8-person dining table and gas grill, surrounded by bougainvillea and natural stone walls. A few more steps and guests will find a large pool (3´shallow end) with a built-in spa and daylong sunshine. This space is ideal for basking in the sun, relaxing in the spa, floating, or reclining right in the pool. The adjacent “viewing deck” has unobstructed ocean views from Hart Bay to Ditleff point and beyond, as well incredible views of the moon and stars. All this is nestled within a sea of environmentally sustainable bougainvillea, sea grape, agave, and aloe, as well as banana, key lime, coconut and pineapple which guests are welcome to harvest during their stay.

Moving down to the water’s edge, guests will find 200+ stone steps to the Hart Bay beach. Away from the crowds and in union with nature, this quite coral sand beach invites the visitor to dream and beach comb, collecting “art” gifts from the sea while inspiring your creative self.

For the cook: You can’t help but enjoy this villa’s brand new kitchen with its expansive views of the ocean, separate bar/prep area and all the modern amenities a gourmet chef could want!Fully-equipped with stainless steel appliances, 5 burner gas stove with oven, dishwasher, wine refrigerator, coffee maker and grinder, blender and toaster.

Technology: Home WIFI is accessible throughout the house. High-quality Bluetooth stereo connection is available in the main living space. All TVs have extended digital cable. USB outlets are built into the kitchen outlets. Villa also has a landline telephone.

Eco-friendly: Oceanport operates on solar energy and runs on rain water captured by cisterns. Water is filtered through a triple water filtration system. Beautiful gardens capitalize on native plants that flourish in the Hart Bay climate and are irrigated by rain water captured by passive irrigation.

The upper level newly remodeled Master Suite has a king size bed, with stately mahogany headboard, night stands and lamps.  Double closets house all of your Caribbean attire. The Master Suite has a 19″ flat screen TV with expanded digital cable for your viewing pleasure.

A wrap around private balcony with expansive views from Reef Bay, Ditliff Point, Rendezvous Bay and around to the west for a glimpse of St. Thomas. The bath has double sinks with a large vanity. The full size shower features a large window with views to the sea.

The upper level Sea Life Suite is decorated in a cottage style with white wicker headboards, matching night stands and lamps. The two twin beds are great for singles or can be converted into a king for a couple.  A large closet with hamper takes care of all your island attire. The Sea Life bath, with turquoise tile and window open to the tropical breezes, relaxes you upon entry. This suite’s large picture window and small balcony are perfect for enjoying the sounds of the surf and views of the sparkling blue bay below.

On the main level, the soothing, sun-drenched walls of the newly remodeled Queen Guest Suite give you a warm feeling upon entering this suite. This suite has a queen bed with large mahogany headboard and dresser, night stands with lamps, comfortable sitting chair, and double closet with hamper. The private wrap around balcony has expansive ocean views from the beach below. To the south side, guests can hear the soothing ocean from inside or out.

Just around the corner, guests find this suite’s full-bath, which offers easy access from the great room. A large travertine-tile shower overlooks the gentle waves below.

The Starfish Retreat is a private apartment accessed by a spiral staircase from the main deck. This apartment has a bedroom with a queen sized bed, night stands with lamps, dresser and full bath with shower. A large living room offers a comfortable sofa, 22” TV, and cuddle chair to accommodate visitors.  The kitchenette includes a small refrigerator, sink, microwave, coffee maker, blender and toaster. This is a perfect space for those who want to relax and get away from it all. This retreat also includes its own private balcony where you can relax while gazing out to the spectacular ocean views below.

Deposit Information: A deposit of 50% of the total rent is required to confirm your reservation. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. The deposit is refunded if re-rented, less 20% administrative costs. Not included in the rental rates is a Virgin Islands Hotel Tax of 12.5% and a $750 refundable security deposit.
