This listing is for a 2 bedroom apartment (about 1300sqft) with a huge living / dining room & kitchen area in our 7400sqft villa “Rendezvous Breeze”.It has spectacular views and it is very bright, airy and cool. It is located only 5 minutes from Cruz Bay up on a hill (only one switchback and not far off South Shore Road).
There is a fantastic breeze and virtually no mosquitoes (they don’t like wind). It is a real stone house you will not be hot it is almost chilly at night. There are 3100sqft on the ground floor with another apartment in the back which is occupied by the owner. The second story is unfinished and waiting for building permit. There will be no construction work on the dates listed as free. You will not hear the traffic noise, barking dogs and chickens you have in town, but you will hear tree frogs and chirping crickets and on the odd day with very strong wind you will hear the howling wind.
You will enjoy relaxing on the 37ft Patio, with two one-seaters and one two seater as well as a Hammock and a gas grill.
There is a small pool upstairs with comfortable sun loungers and an open air powder room. The view from the pool is towards the front yard, tropical garden and gift hill, from the pool loungers you will see the tropical garden but also the unfinished top floor. There is an open air half bathroom by the pool.
The villa is surrounded by an amazing tropical garden with Chinese Fan Palms, Foxtail Palms, Royal Palms, Queen Palms, Fiji Palms, Hibiscus, Jasmin, Bird of Paradise, Banana Trees, Mango Trees, Avocado Trees, Fig Trees, Papaya Trees, Desert Roses, Lemon Trees, Firecracker Plants, Hawaiian Tee Plants, giant Cacti and much more. You will see the sunrise from your bed/patio and we built a deck on the hill on the back side of the house from where you can watch the sunset and have a beautiful view of St. Thomas at night
The house has cable TV with HBO, Cinemax, Showtime etc. and super fast 50MPS wifi internet. On top of the large fridge/freezer in the kitchen, you will have a private fridge and coffee maker in each room and a nice bathroom with spacious natural stone floor shower. The kitchen/living/dining room area is huge (20x25ft). The kitchen has double door fridge / freezer that spits out ice cubes or crushed ice, 4 flame stove and large oven, microwave, hamilton beach blender, bean to cup espresso maker, normal coffee maker, bread maker, toaster, and all the pots, pans and utensils you need to cook a gourmet meal.
Both rooms have Queen Size Bed, a TV with DVD and Apple TV as well as an iphone stereo dock/charging station. Large mirror door closets with plenty of space and some guide books and novels as well as lots of DVDs. For those odd days with no wind and you get hot, there are also brand new GE A/C units in each bedroom.
Bedroom 1: 13x16ft, ocean view from one window, queen size traditional bed
Bedroom 2: 20x16ft, full ocean view from 4 windows. The bed is a comfortable mattress on a wooden podium that has been custom built into the rounded corner of the room to take best advantage of the nice breeze.
Living Dining Room Kitchen: 25x20ft
The villa was acquired in January 2016, it has been empty for a long time before that. The house exterior has been re-painted and equipped with new shutters, the whole interior has been re-done with new paint, flooring, toilet, kitchen appliances and brand new A/C units in the bedrooms. The windows are still the old ones.
The apartment with its bedrooms, bathroom and living room/kitchen is private, the hallway leading to apartment door as well as yard and pool area is shared with the owners. They will of course give you privacy when you are using the pool etc. but they can be seen in the yard, watering plants, pulling weeds and cleaning the pool. The unfinished top floor is not part of the guest access area, you will not walk by it when go from your car to the front door but you will see it when you are walking to the pool.
There are 2 queen size beds but we allow a max. of 6 guests if 2 people wood like to sleep on air mattress (we have a queen size intex), hammock or couch. Aside from Iguanas, a cat lives on the property. The cat is very shy and usually goes into hiding when strangers are around but she has be roaming around on the property and pool area and maybe also entered the apartment when someone left the door open while out, so if you have allergies this might not be the place for you.
We provide towels, beach towels, beach chairs, hangers, hair dryer, iron, coffee, drinking water and soap free of charge. Snorkel gear and Paddleboards are available for rent.
The property sits on a half acre lot with no direct neighbors. There is private guest parking for 2 cars on the property.
The rate is 189$ per night for 2 guests, and each additional guest is $45 per night.
There are 2 queen beds that sleep 4, but we allow a maximum of 6 guests . We have a queen size intex which fits into the larger bedroom or someone might choose to sleep on the couch or in the hammock. We also have a crib size mattress for kids.

This is a non-smoking apartment inside. Smoking is allowed on patio and in yard/by the pool
Deposit information: 50% of total is due upon signing rental agreement, and the remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to arrival. We prefer payment via check or PayPal.
