In 2018, the owner completed a top to bottom renovation                                                                                          Originally a real vintage Caribbean Cottage with modern touches done in a way to preserve the unique relaxing cottage feel, yet with an element of understated luxury. Because its just around the corner from Gallows Point, it hides any noise from town, yet its an easy 2 block stroll to the heart of Cruz Bay.

You’ll enjoy the soothing sounds of the surf from the large 15′ x 20′ screened terrace as you watch the sailboats go by. In the evening, enjoy fabulous sunsets year round plus the twinkling lights of St Thomas.

The air conditioned spacious master bedroom has a king size bed with direct access to the large ocean view terrace. The bedroom’s windows on 3 sides provide cooling Caribbean breezes and an ocean view.

The beautiful Restoration Hardware bath is accessed directly from the master bedroom. Seaside Vista is perfect for a couple as you can rent the cottage with the 2nd bedroom locked, and the rate is priced accordingly. (The 2nd bedroom if un-rented, remains locked & unoccupied.)

The second air conditioned bedroom was thoughtfully designed in a nautical style with 2 bunk beds. These are new bunks, with bunk bed mattresses with a 3″ mattress topper. A blow up twin mattress is also available for a 3rd child. See cost for 2nd bedroom/additional guests under the ‘rates’ section.

For convenience, the bathroom is accessible right from the second bedroom as well. The large newly tiled terrace has plenty of room for relaxing and dining and features all new furniture. The kitchen has been totally remodeled and features new counters, appliances and a more contemporary open floor plan to the living room. A new counter with bar stools makes it a great place to hang. The living room has large ocean view windows with a comfy sectional couch and a doorway that opens up directly to the terrace. There is also a furnished private courtyard with a grill.

I provide my guests with lots of information to help make their travel to St John and their stay more enjoyable.  Enjoy this pristine cottage all to yourself….a vacation you will truly cherish for years to come.

Maximum occupancy is (5) five Guests; 2 in king bedroom, 2 in bunks, 1 in optional twin air mattress.                You can rent 1 or 2 bedrooms,   the un-rented bedroom will remain locked and unoccupied during your stay.

Children of all age are welcome. For children age 8 & under an additional refundable damage deposit & child liability waiver is required.

Check-in time is 3 p.m. Check-out time is 10 a.m.

This is a non-smoking villa, however smoking is permitted outside in the exterior patio area.

Deposit Information: A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation refunds vary based upon the number of days notice; see Rental Agreement for details. Rental rates do not include the 12.5% VI Hotel Tax or the $125 cleaning fee. There is also a $79 Damage Insurance premium required which provides you with $3000 worth of protection. Rates are based upon payment by check.
